Hello, I’m Christian.
Founder and developer of Sendity. I have been building websites and web applications for 30 years, mostly for companies in online marketing and financial services. Sendity is the tool I always wanted for sign-ups myself.
The idea came to me one evening when a sign-up made me angry.
Form, password, code in spam
First a long form, then choosing a password, and finally entering a confirmation code. It only arrived on the third attempt, in the spam folder. For something that could take seconds.
The same security, without the friction
I dislike complicated processes when there are alternatives that offer the same level of security without getting in the way. For sign-ups, there is such an alternative: instead of sending someone a code, let them send one.
Like double opt-in, only nicer
When people ask me what Sendity does, I like to say: like double opt-in, but cooler. One message via WhatsApp or email, and the contact is confirmed.
30 years on the web, my own company
With my company Dachs Consulting I build web applications for businesses where sign-ups, leads and security matter. That work is where Sendity learned the questions customers really ask about sign-ups. More on dachs.consulting.
What Sendity stands for.
Four words every product decision has to live up to.
Simple
One message instead of a form, a password and a confirmation email.
Fast
Done in seconds. Nobody waits for a code that may never arrive.
Secure
The sender is checked, not just a typed-in field: DKIM for email, the number passed on by Meta for WhatsApp.
Open
The core is open source and can run on your own server.
I founded Sendity, develop the product and decide what gets built.
- I help customers with the setup myself.
- I answer questions personally, without a ticket loop.
- Feedback goes straight to the person who writes the code.
When I’m not working on Sendity
I live and work in Büttelborn near Darmstadt. Most of all I like being out in nature with my golden retriever, cycling, listening to music or enjoying good food.
