What happened?
We received a message containing the correct code, but the email authenticity check did not pass. That can happen when the message was forwarded, sent through a mailing system that changes the message, or when the sender domain is not configured to prove that the message is genuine.
What is DKIM?
DKIM is an email security check. It adds a digital signature to outgoing mail. Receiving systems can use that signature to see whether a message was changed on the way and whether the sending domain authorized it.
Why does Sendity care?
A short code proves that someone saw the code. DKIM helps Sendity avoid accepting a message that only looks like it came from your address. This protects accounts from spoofed or modified email and makes email-based verification more trustworthy.
What can I do now?
- Try another email address that you control.
- Send the code directly from your mailbox instead of forwarding it.
- If your company manages your email domain, ask your IT team whether DKIM is enabled and aligned for outgoing mail.
